  What is HomePerks Rewards?

HomePerks Rewards is an online rewards system that enables real estate sellers and professionals to give Buyers and other users rewards. Perks are rewards points that can be redeemed for thousands of rewards (electronics, furniture, vacation travel, etc) on the HomePerks website.

 
 
  How does it work?

  • Receive a Perks notification e-mail informing you that someone has created a Perks Certificate for you. This e-mail will contain a secure PIN that will be required for redemption.
  • Receive a Perks Certificate containing a Claim Code.
  • Register and create a free rewards account.
  • Claim your Perks using the Claim Code and PIN.
  • Spend your Perks towards more than 12,000 items in our rewards catalog.
  • Receive your rewards at no cost to you.

  1. Do I have to buy anything?
    No. Perks merchandise cannot be purchased with cash. Once you receive Perks, simply spend them on the items in our catalog. All items include sales tax, shipping and handling included in the Perks Price. You will not be asked for your credit card or billing information.


     
  2. What happens if I lose my PIN or Claim Certificate?
    If you lose your PIN or Claim Certificate with Claim Code, email our General Support at customerservice@homeperks.com.

  3. How do I get my Perks points?
    Claiming your Perks is easy! When someone gives you Perks they create a Claim Certificate which includes a Claim Code. You simply need to claim the Perks using your Claim Code and PIN.


     
  4. What is Claim Code?
    A Claim Code is a series of alpha-numeric digits secures Perks points when given to another party. This code appears on the claim certificate given to a recipient by certificate's creator. Your claim code must be used in conjunction with your PIN to claim Perks into your account.


     
  5. What is a PIN?
    When one user gives Perks to another a PIN (Personal Identification Number) is created to protect the transfer of Perks. A PIN is a password similar to one used with an  ATM/Debit Card.  When a user generates a certificate, the PIN is e-mailed to the intended recipient by HomePerks Rewards. Perks cannot be claimed or redeemed without both your PIN and Claim Certificate.

  1. What can I get with my Perks?
    HomePerks Rewards has over 10,000 products and services available to you at many different point levels.  Electronics, travel, apparel, gift cards, music, home and garden equipment, toys, sports and fitness equipment are just some of the options available to you.  Click on Browse Catalog on any page to view all of them.


     
  2. How are my Perks merchandise delivered?
    Merchandise is shipped through preferred transport companies including the US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx and DHL. When necessary, large items may be shipped by local carriers.


     
  3. How do I check the status of my rewards order?
    You can track the status of your order by visiting the My Perks section of the web site and clicking on the Track Order link within the Transactions area. In some circumstances, online tracking information may not be available. For Order Assistance e-mail: orders@homeperks.com


     
  4. Can I upgrade my shipping?
    No. Expedited shipping services are not available.


     
  5. Are there product warranties from HomePerks?
    HomePerks is not a manufacturer of the products available in the catalog and thus does not provide a warranty. Only warranties offered by the product manufacturer apply.


     
  6. How long does it take to get my HomePerks Rewards merchandise?
    Items are generally delivered within 2-4 weeks of placing an order.


     
  7. Who pays for shipping, handling or taxes?
    All shipping and handling costs and sales taxes are included in the Perks Price of each catalog item.


     
  8. What is the HomePerks Rewards return policy?
    Items can be returned within 15 days of receipt. All returns must be un-opened, in the original packaging. Return requests must be submitted in writing using the help form. Please include your order number, description of product and reason for return.

    We will contact you with a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and return instructions. All shipping costs for returns are at your expense. A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply for certain items. Any restocking fees will be deducted from your account once the points are refunded. All returns must be shipped through either UPS, FedEx or DHL and tracking information provided.



     
  9. What happens if I don't receive my Perks
    If you do not receive your merchandise within the 2-4 week period, please contact Order Support via e-mail at
    orders@homeperks.com.


     
  10. Can I cancel a pending order?
    Yes. You may contact Order Support via e-mail at orders@homeperks.com.  Telephone support is available M-F, 9am-5pm CT by calling 1-877-75-PERKS.  If the item has already been shipped, a restocking fee of up to 25% may apply.


     
  11. What happens if my rewards merchandise goes out of stock after I order it?
    On occasion, our suppliers may run out of an item after an online order is placed. Our Order support team will notify you of this via e-mail and you will be provided the option of accepting a similar product as a replacement for the one ordered or a refund of Perks points.


     
  12. Can I trade or return my Perks for cash?
    No.  Perks have no cash value and can only be redeemed for products at HomePerks.com.

  1. How do I register with HomePerks Rewards?
    Registering is easy.  Go to our homepage and click on the Register Here link or click here.  Answer a few questions and within a minute or two you'll have registered a username and password.


     
  2. How do I create an account with HomePerks Rewards?
    You can create an account(s) in the "My Perks" section or click here.


     
  3. What do I need to use HomePerks Rewards?
    Using HomePerks rewards is easy.  All you need is an internet connection, home address and a valid email address.


     
  4. Are there any user or account fees?
    No. HomePerks does not charge any fees to be a member and have an account.  Once you create an account simply log into HomePerks.com and claim the perks from the claim certificate that you received (using your claim code and PIN) from the company or individual that gave you the reward.


     
  5. Do my Perks points expire?
    Yes. Once you receive a claim certificate, you have up to six (6) months to claim the Perks associated with that claim certificate into your account. Once claimed into your account, you have six (6) months to spend them before they expire.


     
  6. Can I buy more Perks points?
    Yes. Click on the "Buy Perks" tab at the top of any page and you may purchase additional Perks safely and securely via credit card or electronic check.


     
  7. Can I give my Perks to someone else?
    Yes. Click on the "Give Perks" tab at the top of any page to give Perks to anyone with a valid e-mail address.  You must provide the name, address, and active email address of the recipient in order for them to receive the Perks in their account.


     
  8. What is the dollar value of a Perks point?
    There is no equivalent dollar value of a Perks point.  You cannot redeem your Perks for cash.  Perks can only be spent on merchandise in the HomePerks rewards catalog, under the Spend Perks tab.  You can choose from over 12,000 items.


     
  9. How can I earn more Perks?
    Perks can be earned in many different ways through various types of real estate professionals.  Builders, real estate agents, and mortgage lenders are all examples of companies or individuals that will reward you with Perks for doing business with them.


     
  10. Is my Perks account secure?
    Yes. When we request personal information at HomePerks.com, it is received over our secure servers. We use a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which encrypts (128-bit) sensitive information such as credit card and personal. SSL is the electronic commerce standard for securing information as it travels over the Internet.

    In addition, your claim certificate comes with a secret personal identification number (
    PIN) similar to a debit card.  Perks cannot be redeemed without both the claim code from the certificate and the PIN number.

    Click on the My Perks tab at the top of any page.  Then go under "Account Detail" and update your information, then click on "Save Account" to save your changes or updates.
